Ragana - So Many Reverbs To Cross

The best of Polish reggae, from Konkurrent Records. In their debut album, Ragana have produced a smooth yet heavy dub style with a blend of traditional guitars and drums along with spacious synthesised effects and reverbs with true roots vocals.

The drummer & co-founder of Ragana, Marek Piotrowicz says this "Dub is something you can not get just by putting the instrument parts together. It's something that enters your head and brings life to different parts of your body. Its all about space while maintaining the reggae pulse."

Jagha sings different stories and it's her distinctive voice that gives the melodic element to the album.

99 percent of the effects on this album has been recorded in real time, in old school analogue style.
